Landis Resort Yangmingshan

Highlight: Outdoor cold spring pool was pretty great; stayed for so many hours in the water and skin was as silky as ever. Excellent natural spa. What could be improved: Place looks run down, partially due to it being an old establishment, but they seem to be aging along with their elderly club members who go there frequently to shower, gossip, and do aquatic therapy, some since signing up 30 years ago. Hardly feels like a 4-star-hotel, more like a retirement home or old age club. I wish they could liven up the mood with a few summer events or poolside bar service or at least some music! Another thing: Lots of mosquitoes and caterpillars; would not be a problem though if you stay in the water.

Boutique hotel with great food and view. Hot springs is very close to the original source.

quality hotel for those whose been around and can sense the subtle difference....price to match...
