iTaipei Service Apartment

For a single business traveler the hotel is in a very good location close to Taipei Main Station on top of a department store. Every unit has a front loaded washer/ dryer which is especially useful if you like to do your own laundry so you can travel light. Laundry powder is offered free from front desk staff. Good service staff. Room is clean and good size. Bathroom is clean though a bit old due to wear & tear.

v convenient location near taipei bus station. From Taipei main station, go to underground city mall Y3 exit. reception on ground floor accessible fr outside Q Square Mall. We stay in 2 bedroom apartment. must change lift at 5th floor

Awful layout, incredibly small toilet (so small that the door can only be half opened), really bad air con (smells damp and has occasional cigarette smoke odor), uncomfy beds (hard type) and lukewarm staff. It feels cheap, unclean and old overall, like a karaoke room in Taiwan or the backseat of a taxi. Unfortunately, we decided to check out early after staying for a couple of hours (we stayed for only about 3% of the booked duration), and even more unfortunate was the hotel's policy of no refunds for early check-outs despite the circumstances (headache-inducing bad AC and ventilation). The hotel did offer to change rooms for us, but since it was after midnight, we were told to wait until the next day around 14:00 for the said new room. As we figured a new room wouldn't help much, and would've slept better elsewhere, we checked out early anyway. If you're considering staying here, perhaps your money can be better spent elsewhere on a regular business hotel that offers guest rooms. The space of the apartments here is just not worth the money.
