Drunkland 仙境

The place makes you feelike you are in the hills in LA! It offers the perfect view of Taipei with great decor, cocktails and menu. Whether it is indoor or outdoor, every section has its own charm and character. Highly recommend to arrive before the sunset and secure a spot for the view on a nice day, and sipping cocktails and enjoy delicious Thai flavored cuisine into the night... The setting is so relaxing, it is like a beach club vibe on top of the hillside in Taipei. I could easily go back and spend the entire day there....

Came here for the Mala hotpot set. Since we booked in advance so there was no problem with having to come earlier to wait for a table etc. The meal was nice and the view was amazing. Came here at 4pm, you get to see the sunset and the night scene of Taipei. Service is excellent! All staffs are very welcoming and helps with all our needs. Only downside is when it gets later, takes ages to get a cocktail and the cocktails didn’t taste that good. Would still recommend to anyone who wants to come for the view.

Reasons that the diner earns as much as 2 stars despite the unpleasant service: 1. Fantastic View 2. Waterproof blanket service for people sitting outdoor; it’s sweet 3. Creative non-alcoholic drinks for those driving themselves up here 4. Freshly squeezed juice 5. Acceptable price for food The unpleasant part: 1. Bad attitude staff (impatient and unfriendly) 2. Some dishes are way too salty, spicy, and overcooked, even for people favoring strong taste 3. Poor rice service. It came 30 minutes after the dishes. What are the rice for?? 4. Expensive drinks. Price are actually less than those in the downtown, but the portion is so much less. 5. Limited parking space We had been waiting for three hours in queue in exchange of the above experiences. It’s not worthy of it. However, we still recommend people to come here enjoying the view with a few drinks. This way, you don’t need to wait too long and try the awful food.

The food is unappetizing, the service was lackluster and the drinks were not very good at all. It’s also expensive for the quality of meal you’re receiving. I would have given this place one star but the view is beautiful.

The place has a great view, you can’t deny that. But another thing you can’t deny is the food’s taste, is not that good. We ordered padthai and pasta. I was told the pasta tasted good and it looked okay but the padthai was very plain and almost flavorless. The drinks were pretty good however my friends said the lemonades’ flavor was bad. Overall not so much worth the price. Also the time limit you get is kinda short and considering that they were indirectly telling us to leave when two of my friend’s orders came in very late because the waitress did not take the orders the first time, it gets off a lot of points from my part. The ambience, music and view are all very, very nice though. The place is great to watch the sunset and relax while drinking. But the food is not worth it at all and double check with the waitress when you order...
