Jin Lon Hotel

Old but comfortable hotel. It is good to have a bus stop in front.

Value for money is great! Free bicycles are provided.

Old, run down hotel. I particularly didn't like that the hot water was turned off between 8am and 5pm, you either had to take a cold shower or beg to someone at the reception to turn it back on and wait 15 minutes, and let the water run for 5 minutes. Locationwise, it really doesn't matter in Taitung since you'd hire a scooter or car anyway! All in all, the room was overpriced at $850/night. You can stay somewhere nicer and cheaper, instead! There were uninsulated and uncovered wires above the bath tub which I found dangerous.

We arrived early but they gave us a room immediately. Also gave us a free upgrade to a slightly bigger room than what we had paid for. It was still not a very big room but enough. The bathroom was quite spacious and everything was very clean. They provided basic s like toothbrush, shampoo n soap a d there was a hot and cold water machine in the corridor. The hosts were most helpful with information and maps. They also let us borrow bicycles for free. There was a coin washing machine but there was heaps of place n facility to hang dry the clothes. The hotel is very centrally located and bang opposite the bus station. Absolutely amazing value for money.

We've stayed here for two days and I love the place and the people here are very accommodating. You can barrow there bikes if you want to explore the nearest park in the area. And they do have laundry and ask for help how it'll do it. I love this hotel and it's really cheap and good for budget.
