The school was completely destroyed by the 921 earthquake in 1999. Rebuilt by Yingyeda Group, Lianhe Newspaper, China Broadcasting Corporation, and China Television Joint Adoption for 39 million yuan. The whole school is designed with the story of 4 trees. The building consists of a series of long unilateral corridor school buildings, surrounding the four large trees in the middle of the campus, which has different continuation relationships with "passing", "surrounding", "combining" and "opening", They are presented in four architectural forms: rectangular courtyard pool, semi-circular stage, hollow tree house and undefined. The white brick walls with hollow bricks and the centripetal architecture form on the one hand highlight the traditional shape of Hakka settlements; on the other hand, the arrangement of a series of different space walls and the process of changing the scene with the movement of the viewpoint also hints The experience of gardening in Chinese gardens and the spatial situations of "travel", "view", "joint", and "empty" provide a scene for children to wander, explore, participate, and learn to grow. Zhongkeng Elementary School's architectural design and ideas are derived from the narrative painting interpretation of the four neem trees on the campus, hoping that the building can be rooted in the past of the base and participate in the future life of the base. I hope that the body of the building will only be put on the stage in the base of the elementary school, and generations of actors will really need to install props, modify the setting, and debut.
