Houtanjing Sky Bridge

I went there in the early morning. The place opens at 8.30, and I bought the 50 NTD ticket at 8.33. So, when I got there, it was just me, the pouring rain, and the mist. It just pretty awesome because it was just the perfect condition that I am looking for.

The valley and the bridge are pretty nice, and the air is fresh here. It's a great experience when you walk on the bridge, and the scenery just opens up in front of you. It's also a child friendly place, I let my one and half year old walk on the bridge alone, because the construction is strong, and there are many safety features. However there is nothing here other than the bridge. I thought there will be shops, or some attraction, or anything, but I have been disappointed. Don't expect too much, and you won't be disappointed.

It's a nice stop on a long road trip. Pretty cool if you didn't know about it. You don't need more than 20 mins here. Pay 50 or 30元 for car or motorcycle parking, respectively. It's a bit high. But the average "scared of heights" individual will not be intimidated. The ground, foliage below looks quite soft.
