Holiday Garden Hotel

One of those numerous hotels in Taiwan with notorious mismanagement. They even answer occasionally some reviews with the same "robot style" attitude- "we take your reviews and feedback seriously":) If you take the feedback really seriously, please improve at least 3 things that most people complain about: 1. Train your FO staff. They don't greet incoming guests. This is RUDE and unprofessional 2. Improve your breakfast. Fresh bread is not that expensive 3. Pool time is ridiculous especially the "lunch break" for 4 hours. If you want to save money on lifeguard, you will lose more money on potential customers who won't stay at your hotel.

Good enough. Location is nice, near the river and walking distance to the night market, subway, and many popular restaurants, and biking distance to the the Pier 2 area. Breakfast is poor - stale bread and no lean proteins, and not much selection. Gym is decent, but no lat pull down or chin up bar, and a very low ceiling. Room is pretty comfortable, but cleaning was sup-par, and I could hear my neighbour snoring on one side, and the other side’s door rattled my whole room every time it closed. Front door staff were very inconsistent with checking temperatures and spraying hand sanitizer, so it's pretty pointless. Overall it’s good enough, but not great.

The room is nice and clean. They also have a pool outside the hotel., but it is open during 7am-10am. I wish they allowed night swimming for those who want to avoid sun tan or something. :(

Room is huge Bed is huge and very comfortable Location is amazing Good facilities Lounge is not a lounge but a restaurant which closes to early. Breakfast consusts of very cheap product...wet bread, eggs left for ever, mostly boiled vegetables. Ended up going out to buy breakfast

Hotel after renovation looks very modern, food at the restaurant was good.
