Sapientia Guest House 夏比安民宿

The communal room is large and has some books and musical instruments that are available to everyone. The garden is nice and has a pond and some fruit trees. The views of the mountains are nice. The actual guest room is rather spartan with only a mattress and three coat hangers. The earliest you can get breakfast is from 8:30. Asked for some milk with my coffee but said no! Paid a room for 3 adults but 1 breakfast was a kids portion. Why?

Peaceful, comfortable, quiet and clean. I loved staying here for two nights. My kids loved the animals, board games and books. We loved looking at the stars at night. Wonderful hosts made it feel like home. Great place to slow down and just relax.

Owing to Covid19, we have been traveling around Taiwan for months without being able to return to California. This is a Hualian Airnb that I highly recommend for stay! The Room is not only spacious but clean and artistic! The most spacious we ever stayed with peace and elegance! You can hear birds singing and frogs murmuring and beautiful birds with various species! The breakfast is 5 star and the coffee is 6 star as the owner has baked and offered a variety for us to try during two mornings! We love this AirNB and would always cherish this cultural and beautiful memory of Hualian !

We had a wonderful time at Sapientia. All of my aunts, uncle and my mom enjoyed the place (they are all above 65 and some into 75). The room is spacious and well-designed with great view of the house and the field. The breakfast and the coffee are second to none. We’d love to come back again!

A cosy place in the middle of rural area with a very nice owners. We found the guesthouse by occasion and had a chance for short coffee. Hope to come once again for weekend someday.
