Wheels of Fortune 植福餅

Definitely the most instagramable Street side food stall I have been to! Taste is alright, but the effort that goes into displaying the food is just immaculate.

I was eating inside Ye Shu Shu Shi when Wheels of Fortune was closing. I had planned on going to get a cake for desert but the owner came in and gave me two free ones. I tried to pay but she insisted that I have them for free. They are very beautifully represented and taste delicious as well. If you are reading this, thank you so much! I’ll be back!

FINALLY I HAVE BEEN ABLE TO TRY THE VEGAN VERSION OF THIS LOCAL TREAT! Unfortunately I came too late for the strawberries one (victim of their own success I guess) I had the lava chocolate one, even if I am not a big chocolate lover I enjoyed it but definitely will come back for the straws one !!! The lady as a perfect English and is super friendly! You HAVE to go there ! +Super cheap for the quality !

Love the wheel cake here, unfortunately is permanently closed since October 2018. :( Update: 1/4/2019 Owner moved the cart to other location, it’s now on 六合路, she discontinued the green tea red bean flavor and added some new chicken flavor. Those cakes are definitely a MUST TRY! After seeing them at one of the night markets in Taiwan, i knew i have to try them. Luckily we haven't missed them this time. So we tried the ones with Mochi Brown Sugar and Tapioca Custard fillings. The sweetness was just right and the pearls and mochi were super soft. Leaves you wanting more. Definitely a gem in this area.
