The GAYA Hotel

Good hotel, located at downtown city of Taitung, facility is clean and good and new. I will consider to have another stay next time. Price is very reasonable, I love it so much. My first visit to this hotel was 2020-March, Covid-19 panics the world, and nobody go outside for traveling, so the hotel room rate is very low. When I visit this hotel this time, before the 2021 Chinese New Year holiday, the room rate becomes almost double to my first visit. Even the rate is high, but I still like the hotel. Clean, good service, good breakfast food (Chinese style).

The hotel is relatively new and is located in an excellent location for sport stadium, old railroad trail which is perfect for biking and jogging, and artist community of the Taitung City. Hotel has a good collection of contemporary paintings inside its buildings, such as lobby. Young professional staffs are friendly and efficient in helping hotel guests. Breakfast has variety of entries to meet the western [bread, cake, and pastries, yogurt], and traditional Chinese food preference. The only deficiency or weakness of the Hotel is its TV system is based on MOD service which does not have CNN or Bloomberg business news service.

Best hotel in Taitung with great location accessing all featured dining and signature stores, friendly and helpful services, and facility with views.

Cooperate with the famous Taiwanese artist 江賢二（Paul Chiang ), who traveled in Europe for over 30yrs, and come back to stay in Taiwan, Taitung. Fancy hotel with well service, is in the city center, functional facilities, pool, gym etc.

The price is a little bit too high, and even it is week designed and quite modern. The breakfast cannot call it as “continental” , the selection and the taste is much lower than expected if the price is in the mid-high level. Under the circumstances of COVID-19, and weekday, the price and the accommodation I got is worthless.
