While waiting for my flight, I bought the beef noodle and braised rice. I must say they are pretty decent. Not too salty or spicy and the taste is just right. A little expense at NT$250 per bowl but I guess this is what you get at the airport.

This is a place for the connoisseurs of Taiwan Beef Noodle Soup — absolutely the gold standard in all of Asia ( including mainland China) for its use of premium quality material (beef shank, not rump roast as used elsewhere).nnThose not in the know may find the “flat noodles” a bit odd, as they expect noodles to be round. The flat ones stem from (are simulation of) those shaved from a huge piece of dough with a knife flying into a cauldron of boiling water.

At least they have vegan options but it's very expensive and not satisfying by flavour neither the quantity.

Vegan food! In an airport! Or vegan options at least. They have 3-4 plates that are vegan. We got a noodle plate, rice plate and dumpling plate and a Taiwanese beer for $20 USD, so not too bad for an airport.

My BF and I wanted to grab a quick bite before our flight leaves Taiwan. Since my BF and I were already missing the food from Taiwan. So we decided to get i-Mei, our last Taiwanese meal of our trip. We ordered Minced Pork Rice and Braised Pork Rice, both combos comes with soup, half marinated egg, edamames, but sadly to say both dishes were terrible. Minced pork was a bunch of mushy meat, soups were bland, it left a bad taste in our mouth. We had better food for $85 NT on a little stand on the side of road in Taipei.
