A lovely place to enjoy a day at the beach.nThis is a large and clean beach with fine (slightly dark) sand with plenty of space to enjoy a relaxing afternoon. The beach can be easily accessed by car or by train (the train station is 3 min walking distance).nThere are fantastic views of the mountains and Turtle Island.nThe ocean is a bit rough (not for beginners) and it is very popular for surfing.nThere are plenty of small shops near the beach offering beverages and surfing equipment rental.nHighly recommended!

Favorite beach close to Taipei. Top 2 beaches in Taiwan :) soft sand, clean warm waters.

Nice big waves when we went. My 6 year old daughter got knocked over a few times... she loved it. Clean. Will go back soon.
