Bravo Beer

Went during the LNY holiday. I didn't realise it was only Belgium beer. I was looking for something local. Surprised you don't stock one or two local beers. I probably would have stayed longer in that case. Love the food though. Pizza was incredible. Could have eaten two. Beers poured in correct glasses and all nicely done.

Ordered a beef salad and a sausage platter. Didn't ask how we wanted the beef cooked so it came rare. I don't like rare generally speaking, but on this occasion it tasted quite good, except it was very chewy. The sausage platter has 5 different types of sausage but you wouldn't know cos they all look and taste the same. All of them tasted like over-cooked IKEA hot dogs. Beer was good and service was quite good too, hence the 2 stars. Food - not good all and over-priced. Won't be coming back.

Can't understand why this bar is highly rated. No atmosphere and there is a 10% service charge which is not at all obvious from the beer menu. This charge applies even if you're not having food. I'd advise saving yourself some money and just choosing a better bar with live music - there are a few around.

No atmosphere at all, decent beer prices saved a star for them. Service charge of 10% added to the bill. I'll be avoiding this place from now on. Usual BS sounding explanation as to why 2 beers had a service charge. I've heard that kind of BS all over the world, it's always in bars/restaurants with bad management setting bad policies. Save your reply, the internet knows you are full of it. "Every restaurant in Taiwan" don't make me laugh. My advice is to avoid. And they wonder why they are empty at 8pm on a Friday.

Western Restaurant: Summary - Low quality food in a cozy surrounding. The Pros - Service was mostly prompt and courteous. Overall prices and the range of beers are the high points of this place. The Cons - All seafood dishes (pasta, risotto, etc...) are to be avoided. The clams, shrimp and scallops were NOT fresh at all. The dishes came at very different times, so by the time the last dish arrived, the first two main dishes were already finished.
