Shifen Waterfall

Definitely worth visiting. Besides the fall, there are several serene pools of a mountain stream. On a sunny day, you should catch the rainbow effect. Ample parking available in front of the entrance.nnNote: the outer edge of the waterfall seems a little too symmetrical to be completely natural. Perhaps it is: this “wall” functions to retain the water like a dam, but in the end, who cares. It’s beautiful.

Dubbed the mini Niagara Falls- emphasis on the mini. But still a worthwhile walk from the station. The roads are paved and there are a few steps, but very accessible. We went at a good time- it had just finished raining so the waterfall was pretty impressive. Make sure to walk down to the front of the waterfall; there's a seated area where you can just watch the waterfall and enjoy the surroundings!nnNote: Visited prior to COVID

It is place for tourist, here include some big place to park your car but it cost some money.I like to come here early because of the hot weather and share have some amazing view that has a long bridge ,the train rail and the waterfalls.There are some food store that you can order drinks and meal.

So refreshing, also you can get there easily with just walking from shifen old street.. the stairs are also very safe! Visiting when its not raining is perfect

Awesome place & a pleasant walk to the waterfall. Lovely views, decent food & overall, a fantastic half day experience. Shifen Old Street is nearby as well.
