The National Palace Museum is one of the largest museums in Asia and the world. It has a collection of Chinese art spanning from the Neolithic era to the present, with more than 700 thousand pieces with an amazing diversity of presentations.nThe National Palace Museum has so much to show, you will always feel like you are in a new space you have never visited before. An example of this are the permanent exhibitions of painting and calligraphy, which are rotated quarterly, in which you can see more than three thousand pieces of the collection, in one of the samples.nThe collection of the National Palace Museum deals mainly with art and pieces of Chinese history. It is a collection of masterpieces.

All the treasures of the Imperial Palace from calligraphy and ink and wash, to fine carvings and ancient artifacts. This museum and it's southern counterpart hold the finest pieces from China's history. Over time it is progressing from a dry academic focus to hosting exhibitions with wider appeal. Do have a look at the website to see what's on. If you feel that you need a break from the culture then your ticket also gives access to the nearby gardens and the staff are happy to stamp your hand allowing reentry to the museum. If you're on a tight budget then it's worth bringing a picnic to eat in the garden as there aren't many alternative places to eat in the area.

The National Palace Museum is huge! There are many places to take pictures outside of the museum. Once inside there are many artifacts to look at and you can see the Chinese history with each piece of art. Now is a good time to go there are not that many people going at this time. One of my favorite pieces of art was the jade cabbage. There is so much to look at. And you can take a souvenir home with the vast collection of item's to buy in the gift shop.

The National Palace Museum located in Taipei, Taiwan, has a permanent collection of nearly 700,000 pieces of ancient Chinese imperial artifacts and artworks, making it one of the largest of its type in the world. The collection encompasses 8,000 years of history of Chinese art from the Neolithic age to the modern. Most of the collection are high quality pieces collected by China's emperors. The National Palace Museum shares its roots with the Palace Museum in the Forbidden City, whose extensive collection of artwork and artifacts were built upon the imperial collections of the Ming and Qing dynasties.

The ambiance was so great even though it was raining when I got there. This place was really good for all ages. You can stroll around while you hearing the audio of different relics and displays' facts and features
