Tien En Temple

Very traditional Chinese Temple. Very meaningful Buddhist sentences outside the temple entrance!

I came by here by bike road from the Maokong Gondola station. The temple is quite large and multi-leveled. There was a nice looking incense holder up front. Inside was beautiful golden Buddha. There is a bus stop just outside the temple so you don't need to walk.

We came by here after walking down the road from the Maokong Gondola station. The temple is quite large and multi-leveled. There was a nice looking incense holder up front. We weren't able to go inside but we did have a look and there was a large Buddha. There is a bus stop just outside the temple so you don't need to walk.

Good place to stop by after walking the trail from Maokong Station. It's a nice addition to your Maokong Gondola trip but not really a place you'd specifically want to visit.
