Shuishe Dam

One of the most popular photo spots, and the best part of the bikeway in Sun Moon Lake. The best time to visit would be the early morning to enjoy the tranquility and fresh air.

Not the greatest but it has a nice view, fun for cyclists.

Picturesque spot (there were two wedding photoshoots while I was crossing the dam, so that should be evidence enough). The sunset will be in your face when you come from the Visitor centre (where you get off the tour buses, presumably). Overall a nice spot to relax a bit before resuming your bike ride (or scooter ride).

Another scenic view of Sun Moon Lake, less people came.Suggested come here by rent bicycle due the distant from parking area is around 1 mile.

It is a place that tourists must come. I first came here with my late wife in August, 1983, when the place was peaceful as if the sun and moon were having a romance. When I came here again in March, 2016, the activities of the tourists here and there seemed to have outshined the sun and the moon!
