What a great hike. Breathtaking. Kudos to the Taiwanese for providing such a beautiful, well maintained trail with great historical information along the way.

A nice way to spend a morning. As it's always the case with Taiwan's National Parks, one never knows what is open and what isn't, until they get to the trailhead. In my case, the Jinbaoli trail was only open until the bridge and the grasslands where closed because of some recent incident between humans and the water buffaloes. Instead, I spend some time exploring another trail that branches out at Jinbaoli gate and runs east and passes through a few pleasant peaks and ravines. All in all, it was a good excuse to leave Taipei for a few hours.

Away form the hustling and bustling of city life. This is the go to place for trekking or a refreshing walk on the weekends. However, it is not advised to go on a hot summer day since there is not much cover. 前段步道平緩uff0c老少咸宜uff0c是週休二日出遊的好去處。行間的山澗清涼、有遮蔭uff0c是歇腳的好地方
