Datunshan South Peak

This peak is part of the Taipei Grand Hike trail, running between Datun Peaks (East, South, and Main Peak Observatory). This trail is actually very beautiful and varied, passing through some traditional forest, bamboo forest and tall grass. The easiest way to get to this peak is from the main Datun peak, but most people will go from Datun to MianTianPing (or opposite) which is not a trail for everyone as some sections are steep and muddy.

so Beautiful ,you should climb and prepare hand glove ,Hiking shoes must be both anti -slip,waterproof and breathable

Very muddy and a lot of ropes down on the way to Datun West peak. Not too difficult it dangerous, but certainly nothing for the lighthearted.

A strenuous climb redeems itself.
