Visiting from New York. Unfortunately I'm not staying in the hotel itself, but I saw vareniki on their menu so we got a late lunch. I only review places I like and let me tell you, the food was phenomenal. The kind waitresses greeted us at the door and sat us at which table we wanted. I took the vareniki with potatoes and shkvarki for 28 UAH. The dough was really well made, the potatoes soft. Perfect combo. I really liked the place. Considering staying next time I come to Truskavets'.

I give the top five not so much to the hotel as to one of the oldest villas in the city - the villa “Under the Mother of God”. The building now houses the Park Hotel and a restaurant. The villa was built in 1899 by the practitioner Zenon Pelcara, who also owned the neighboring Villa Sofia. At that time, 7 villas were built in Truskavets, of which "Grazhina", "Svitezianka", "Sofia" and "Under the Mother of God" have survived to this day. The Villa "Under the Mother of God" was built in accordance with the latest requirements of that time - in the Art Nouveau style, with signs of the Swiss and Carpathian styles (Hutsul wood carving elements of decor), had 20 luxuriously furnished comfortable rooms and became a real decoration of the resort. The building was one of the resort's finest wooden villas, which was awarded the Great Gold Medal and recognized as one of the best in Europe. The name of the villa is probably related to the Roman Catholic chapel, which is opposite the road. During the First World War, both villas of doctor Pelcar were destroyed, and in 1918 they were rebuilt. In Soviet times, the villa was turned into a dormitory building of the Beryozka sanatorium. After the privatization of Truskavetskurort CJSC in 2010, the building passed into private hands. It was restored, brought to its original state and given a new name - "Park Hotel", the opening took place in January 2011.

Villa Under the Mother of God was built in 1898 by practitioner Zenon Pelchar, who also owned Villa Sofia. In the same year, 7 villas were built in Truskavets, of which 4 have survived to this day: Grazhyna, Svitezyanka, Sofia and Under the Mother of God. Villa "Under the Mother of God" was built according to the latest requirements of the time, had 20 luxuriously furnished comfortable rooms, and became a real decoration of the resort. It got its name from the sculpture of the Mother of God, which was located across the street, near the chapel of St. Kunegundi, which was rebuilt in 1910 into the Roman Catholic Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. In Soviet times, this villa was turned into a dormitory of the sanatorium "Birch". After some time, it fell into disrepair, no one carried out repairs. Following the privatization of Truskavets Resort, in 2010 the building of the Villa Under the Mother of God passed into private hands. The building was restored, restored to its original condition and given a new name - Park Hotel, which opened in January 2011. Villa "Under the Mother of God" is built in Art Nouveau style, with signs of Swiss and Carpathian styles (elements of decor Boyko wood carvings). The villa is wooden, three-story, ends with a pyramidal roof. Villa "Under the Mother of God" belongs to the second period of formation of resort buildings (1895 - 1920) in Truskavets.
