Drohobych College of Oil and Gas is a state higher educational institution, the graduates of which for 70 years have become more than 25 thousand specialists who have confirmed the high quality of education in the college with their professionalism. Today it trains specialists in almost all specialties for the oil and gas production and processing industries. We train specialists with a modern level of education and a broad outlook. Highly qualified teachers are involved in working with students, including candidates of sciences, associate professors, teachers with the highest category, teachers-methodologists, which guarantees students a high level of knowledge. The best graduates of Drohobych College of Oil and Gas are enrolled in the leading higher educational institutions of Ukraine for a reduced period of study. In particular, our college works closely with Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas, National Technical University of Ukraine "Kyiv Polytechnic Institute", "Ukrainian State University of Chemical Technology" Dnepropetrovsk, National University "Lviv Polytechnic", Kyiv Aviation University. We consider his humanity, professional skills, decency, respect for parents, and assimilation of spiritual heritage to be of paramount importance in the formation of a young specialist. That is why every teacher of our college works to be a role model for their students, an example of conscientious work, a mentor in everyday life. The basis of the material base of the college are: modern computer classes integrated into a local area network integrated into the World Wide Web; a library equipped with the necessary literature for training sessions and educational activities and equipped with computer equipment that allows you to process electronic versions of textbooks and use the materials presented in the global network; dormitory for out-of-town students; sports and gyms for sports and active lifestyle; locksmith, mechanical, electrical workshops and sixteen laboratories, which provide practical training for students; a model of a drilling rig was installed at the training ground of drilling and oilfield equipment, equipment used in the process of drilling, production, transportation of oil and gas was assembled; student cafe, focused on fast student service; 2 buses for excursions and internships of students, purchased at the expense of patrons of the oil industry (former college graduates). It is obvious that the sports infrastructure has not been taken care of here for a long time - there is no grass on the football field as such, but weeds are growing. The pool is in poor condition, has long been in need of renovation.
