Awful impression of the "treatment" of a baby tooth in a 7-year-old child. The pediatric dentist (Victoria Vladimirovna) did not introduce herself, quite formally and uninterestingly asked the name of the child, without hearing the answer and without establishing elementary contact with the child, she asked me what worried the child. Having put the child down by force and opened my mouth (I regret that I allowed this and did not take the child away), I began to work with a boring machine. With tears and pain, the tooth was filled. When I asked why they didn’t get to know each other properly and didn’t find contact with the child, the doctor replied that she was not a psychologist and she had 15 minutes for the patient. Going out into the corridor and having calmed the child down a little, I looked at the tooth that was being treated. There was a question about this tooth, I returned to the office to clarify and along the way asked, is there also caries in the next tooth? The "dentist" replied: "Yes, the tooth must be treated." To my logical question, why didn’t you say that the tooth needs treatment, the answer was given: “You didn’t ask, you need it”. So which of us is a dentist in this situation? As a result, they said that our filling in a baby tooth costs 700 UAH, although they told me 500 UAH over the phone. Considering the forced treatment of a tooth, absolutely unacceptable in the modern world, the child paid 500 UAH. The older child was no longer allowed to be treated.
