I want to share my experience, I hope it will protect travelers from unpleasant situations. Due to early check-in, we paid a full day's stay in this hostel, the money for the week was transferred to the card number sent by the administrator. Arriving at 4 in the morning in Cherkasy we headed to the hostel, the location is excellent, in the city center and I think that's it ... The administrator was not there, there was a very elderly grandfather who was somewhat unable to help with settlement and instead of the reception - grandfather's bed. We went into the rooms that were booked and bought: the mattresses were all stained, the bed was not made up, it was dusty, in a room without windows there was a very unpleasant smell. I asked for a clean bed, they provided me with it, it smelled of powder, it means it was washed, but it was extremely dilapidated and washed. We covered the beds to at least have the opportunity to sit down. The kitchen is dirty, the latch in the toilet did not function. As soon as I managed to reach an agreement with the hotel, we left this “overnight stay”. At 6 in the morning we checked into the hotel, in prepared clean rooms. I do not recommend this hostel, the price does not correspond to the service absolutely!
