The first known ancestor of the Iloshwai family is Prince Maxim de Iloshva (Maxim Iloshvai, eel. Ilosvay Maxem), a Voivodeship governor who, together with his brothers Seneslau I de Dolga (Hungarian e. ), and Komloshi Migaj (Komlósy Torpa Mihály) settled in Transcarpathia. Maxim de Iloshava was the son of the legendary governor of Wallachia - Tatomyr, as well as the brother of Basarab I - the first owner of Wallachia and founder of the Basarabe dynasty. Maxim Iloshawi is referred to in the document for 1341 as "Makszem Olachy filii Thamery" ("Maxim volosko, son of Tatomir"). The same document deals with the estate owned by Maxim - acne. Makszemhaza ("Maxim's House", now Irshava) [2]. Already in 1342, Maxim Iloshawi was mentioned in written sources as "Makszem filius Thattamery Olachy de Ilosva", ie the settlement of Iloshava became the main residence of Maxim, the so-called "possesiones capitalis", from which the family of Iloshawi derives its name and prefix - de Ilosva. Sons of Maxim de Ilosva: Istvan de Ilosva (Hungarian. István (Nán) de Ilosva); György de Ilosva (György de Ilosva) and Janos de Kisfalu (János de Kisfalu) are the founders of the Kishfalushi family.
