Kashtan Vavilova

Poltava pleased with natural living memorable places. I also visited this tree. the foliage in the fall has already crumbled with truth. I will try to visit again, being passing, during the flowering period of the chestnut for a photo.

Chestnut Vavilova (Chestnut MI Vavilova) is a botanical natural monument of local significance in Ukraine. Located on the northern outskirts of Poltava, Swedish Street, 88 (the territory of the agricultural research station). Area 0.1 ha. The status was assigned in accordance with the decision of the regional executive committee dated March 14, 1989 № 75. Managed by: Poltava Institute of Agricultural Production. MI Vavilov. The status was awarded to preserve one copy of the horse chestnut, named in 1987 in honor of the 100th anniversary of the birth of scientist MI Vavilov.
