11. 01.2021 gave birth to a baby in maternity hospital 6 (natural childbirth with episiotomy) with the next team. We are infinitely grateful to the doctor Starikova Anna Oleksandrivna, and to the whole next team. The child was laid out on me, then on the husband, the umbilical cord was not in a hurry to be cut, they gave us 2 hours to stay with the son and the husband in the delivery room.
After the birth, the best impressions from the doctors remained. Childbirth was a partnership despite the lockdown. Tests for coronavirus or something else rumored did not require anything. The attitude of the doctors and all the necessary procedures in childbirth and 3 days after me and the baby were provided at a high level. I am registered and live in Brovary, Kyiv region, where I was registered in the LCD, signed an exchange card for childbirth in the 6th maternity hospital in Kyiv without any problems. Arrived with contractions, gave birth the next day, early 42 weeks, the day before the planned stimulation. There were no hints of money, not even a charitable contribution, everything is completely free. The food is not very ok, old repairs, but overall maternity is normal. There is hot water, shower. Our family is impressed and grateful❤️
For three weeks I was in pathology, the staff is cool, the conditions are good, the food is normal.
When it came time to give birth, there were good obstetricians on the shift, some man-doctor had to take delivery, he could not help me from 12.00 to 15.00 it hurt so much, he just went and looked at how much the opening was ... at 17.00 he went home .... and then Marina Vladislavovna, my savior, came in, I am grateful to her, for three hours from the opening of 6cm, I made 10cm. And in 20 minutes I gave birth, there was a large incision in the baby's head.
I did not come to an agreement with her, she was a ward doctor with me! I can recommend her! At the same time, she ran to other girls and helped.
The postpartum wards are terrible, the beds are uncomfortable ... the staff are not welcoming.
This maternity hospital has its pros and cons.
She has been registered since the 12th week at the Women's Health Center during this maternity leave at Gradinar Viola Oleksandrivna. They paid UAH 5,000 for this. The money is deposited in the terminal at the entrance to the maternity hospital. Separately then paid for screening and some tests that did not pass them.
She gave birth on December 27, 20, they didn't agree with the doctor or obstetrician in advance. Ostrovskaya (I don't remember her name) and midwife Anastasia were replaced. In advance, they asked that the umbilical cord be pulsed, that oxytocin not be injected, that everything be as natural as possible.
The birth went well, the son was born in 5 hours. The doctor was a little tough, but it was necessary with me at that moment. The midwife, on the other hand, was kind and affectionate, constantly encouraging, saying that I was a good man. Nobody asked for money, the man gave as much as they considered necessary as gratitude.
After 2 hours we were transferred to the maternity ward on the 4th floor. There are not as good conditions as on the 5th floor, but I was fine. I was lucky that in my ward the shower and toilet were only for me, not for 2 wards.
I liked all the pediatricians, the pediatric nurses too. The only thing I did not like was that one nurse (Venus) suggested giving the child a mixture instead of colostrum. Like he doesn't eat, and so that I don't torture him or myself. I was categorically against.
Another, of course, a very big minus, that no one showed or told how to properly attach the child to the breast. Because of this, on the first day she received nipple injuries and suffered until the day of discharge. Already at home I called a consultant on GV and now I have no problems with it. I will give one piece of advice: take nipple cream with you. Watch Nina Zaichenko's video about GV. It will help a lot.
The food is normal, hospital, I did not expect any unrealistic dishes with marzipan. You can eat if you want.
Special thanks to all the staff in general: and the cleaners and kitchen staff who delivered food to the wards, all very nice and friendly) I may be so lucky for such people, but the impressions after being in this maternity hospital are only positive.
Thank you to this maternity hospital on January 1, because our girl is a real New Year's gift!)) It is on such holidays that you rethink the value and charm of such an event as the birth of a child.
Special thanks to our "Snow Maiden" Irina Mykolayivna Shipko, who helped us with the birth of her first son 8 years ago, and even after these eight years mentioned the exact date, height and weight at the birth of a baby at a meeting with his wife in the LCD, and this, believe me , true professionalism. Taking into account that our girl had a pathology, and her birth passed, as they say, without a hitch, then in general ... The reputation of such a person is not just praiseworthy, but more, exaltation! Ms. Irina, if we have a third child, without a doubt, only to you! With respect and best wishes!
My review about childbirth in the 6th maternity hospital
It is very difficult and painful to remember all this, but perhaps it will save someone from the misfortune and grief that befell me.
I came to the maternity hospital on a referral from the ZhK, upon admission they did an ultrasound scan and CTG, then Natalya Romanovna Kuchma took care of me, she looked at me in the chair and said not to dress (despite the fact that there were still strangers there) but to listen to her, first of all she said that all the indicators are normal, but since 41 weeks and 2 days are already long, an urgent need to put the Foley catheter at night, and in the morning to pierce the bladder and put an oxytocin drip to stimulate labor, I was in favor of natural childbirth and began to ask to wait according to the protocol, the standby mode with good performance is possible up to 42 weeks, to which Kuchma N.R. quite sharply answered that I would not give birth otherwise, only this way and in no other way. I was simply not given the right to choose! At about 4.30 pm, I was put on a Foley catheter, which was supposed to expand my cervix, contractions began, a lot of blood was flowing out, the doctor on duty said that it was normal, after 5 hours the contractions stopped, I tried to sleep, but due to nervous experiences I got to sleep only 3 o'clock, at 7 in the morning the nurse called me to remove the catheter and Kirichenko Yuri immediately looked at me there, he said that the opening was good so that they would take me to the delivery room, to my question how many centimeters - answered 3, I noticed that it was very a small disclosure, I began to ask to wait with a puncture, to explain that I did not sleep at night, the contractions exhausted me and I felt that the body was not ready, but he was adamant, to the genus hall and that was all, said that I would give birth quickly. And I trusted the doctor. He pierced the bubble at 8 in the morning, after 2 hours oxytocin was put in as there were no contractions and hell began! The contractions immediately began to be intense and very painful compared to natural contractions, I tried to walk a lot so that the opening would go faster, the doctors came about every 2 hours, each time they checked the opening differently, but there was not much of it, the doctor came at about 18-19 hours Starikova Anna Aleksandrovna, the disclosure was 5 cm, I was already completely exhausted from the pain and being on my legs without sleep, I asked for an epidural anesthesia, they told me that they would do it later. I asked for a cesarean, since I was already disconnected while sitting on the ball, they told me that everything was going well and I was going to face on my own, at about 23.30 attempts began, Starikova A.A. came and was already with me, but since there was no disclosure, they put me on the couch and there I was pushing, and Anna Alexandrovna helped open the cervix with her hands. At 2.35 I gave birth, my daughter was with a blue head, all in meconia and did not scream, she was almost 20 !!! hours in waterless mode! then the neonatologist took my daughter to the intensive care unit (When my daughter was still lying on me, I asked the midwife if there was an entanglement, she replied that it was quite a bit, and when she was discharged they wrote a double tight one)
Unfortunately, my completely healthy baby died 13 hours after birth from asphyxiation
This is an unreal pain when you take care of yourself for 9 months, take care of your baby and look forward to her, and thanks to our "wonderful doctors" ... everything collapses in an instant ... your whole life ... and instead of joyful troubles, only a testimony of of death...
The only gratitude is to the director of the Maternity Hospital and to Nachmed Semenyuk Larisa Leonidovna for assistance in solving issues and a human attitude ..
