Souvenir market

Souvenir Market of Yaremche is usually a very busy place. It is open till about 4-5 pm in summer time and till about 3 pm in winter. It stretches on both sides of the river. There are many vendors with numerous souvenirs from embroideried clothes, rushnyky and table cloths to wooden boxes, painted eggs, kitchenware and toys, from handmade soap to mountain tea, local honey and moonshine and liqueurs. Everyone will find something to buy. Prices are moderate. But go wind and check in various places, plus, mix that some things are not handmade, they might be produced in China. But others are handmade and are of high quality. So, just ask the vendors. The bridge that connects two sides of the market opens great view of the waterfall. Note that it's a bit hard to find the parking, so you will need to ask for the way to get there, it's tricky. And it's hard to find a bathroom, you will probably have to go to the restaurant there.

Nice place. Prices are high, but make a discount on some things. There are both polite, pleasant sellers, and rude, intrusive. You can remove interesting things for yourself and someone as a gift. But there are toys that can be found anywhere, most of them Chinese. Wine should be chosen very well, because often it is not wine, but colored water with alcohol. Nuts and honey should also be chosen well, because you come across low-quality goods. Here you can not only meet rude sellers, as well as tourists who came not to rest, but to raise everyone rude, and behave like pigs

Prices are clearly inflated, designed for tourists from far corners of the country and those who "believe" in the uniqueness of this product. Faced with an inadequate woman saleswoman. I invited her to come and see, and when we decided to think or buy something, she caused a scandal. It was very unpleasant, spoiled mood for the whole day. It's good that we didn't taste anything, we just watched! (( I will clarify that I am writing about a market that stretches just a few meters from the track on the way to the waterfall.
