As it turned out later, you just found yourself another option to buy and this apartment was no longer needed. Also, it is worth reminding you that you have signed a deposit agreement, which clearly defines the terms of sale of the apartment and in case of failure to meet these deadlines - the deposit for the apartment is not returned. You didn’t come to the transaction, the terms of the transaction were missed, therefore the terms of the deposit agreement were not fulfilled by you, which you also modestly ignored.
