House No. 62a is a former Jewish hospital with an almshouse. It was founded in 1854 "for 30 sick and 10 elders in need of care". It was originally housed in a small wooden house. The two-story stone building that has come down to us was erected at the end of the 19th century at the expense of the city's Jewish community. From 1944 to 1948, the First Soviet Hospital was temporarily placed here, which was destroyed during the Second World War. Now the regional TB dispensary is located here.

Terrible conditions, horrible treatment of patients, smoking in the corridor department, constantly drunk, both sick and the staff drinks, fights. you ask the doctor about your diagnosis and about the disease, she answers in an unclear language, asks to intervene and the course of her thoughts changes constantly. No one responds to the complaints. Doctors take bribes. How sick is really normal people who want to be treated may live in such conditions.
