Aquarium of Freshwater Fish

Soviet-style aquarium. A good place to see different kinds of fish in the city. Disadvantages: a large aquarium is not cleaned, judging by its appearance. I recommend it for a one-time visit with children. Prices for 2020: 80 UAH for adults, 50 UAH for children.

Not much to see, plus the big tanks were dirty and the were told the Alligator was sick. The best part was the walk to and from the main land. ;-)

This place is like a time capsule, frozen since Soviet era. I visited it as a kid back in 70s and it was an absolute marvel back then. Walking into it in 2019 was a little surreal - nothing has changed, absolutely nothing. Even the smell, even the old lady, selling the tickets, who will yell at you for inconveniencing her with any questions, for that extra authenticity - everything is just like it was. Aquarium itself is nice and well worth the effort to visit, artwork is faded but still nice.

A calm and peaceful place to rest and relax near Dnipro river. Usually not too much overcrowded except on special occasions. There is also so much for children to play and enjoy!

It has only few big fishes , a small shark , and a crocodile
