Museum of the History of Weapons

On Sobornyj Prospekt in the basement of a nondescript-looking shop is a head-spinning arsenal of weapons put together by just one man. The museum is a single room, but there isn’t a centimetre of wall-space that is not covered by vintage swords, cutlasses, axes, muskets, revolvers, rifles, blunt weapons or armour. In all there are more than 4,000 pieces in this museum, the oldest dating to the Stone Age and the most recent from the Second World War.

I thought this place was closed by mistake, but it's open just hard to find. You have to go into the shop turn left then right and then up some stairs. Just one room Hr40 entrance fee, not bad but not great either. I enjoyed other Museums in Zap. much better.

A lovely little weapons museum. But it is small only in size, the number of exhibits presented here is simply incredible and all of them could be placed on the territory of 10 such rooms. Weapons here range from the simplest, such as a spear and arrow, to the most unusual, such as a ring pistol or a key pistol. Entrance fee for adults 40 hryvnia, for children 20 hryvnia, accompanied by a guide 100 hryvnia. The museum is on the second floor, entrance through the shop, which is on the first floor
