Beautiful place, friendly and cozy, very nice energy. There is a store where you can buy things from India such clothes, bells, pictures, scarfs, bags, incense, natural oils, delicious sanctified food, sweet and salty. They have open from morning until evening. There are different spaces, is a big building. There is a room for kids to play, there are toilets. In de entrance there is a place where to put your shoes and then also you can hang your coat. There are also lockers. There are different events in the temple. During mornings they hold a daily spiritual program, with different types of meditation. Singing, with musical instruments or without, different songs for different meditations, there is Japa meditation, there is phylosophy class. And on Sundays there is similar program but more singing also with classes and you can taste very delicious and sanctified food. And leave a donation in case you feel it in your ❤️. They also have a very good restaurant, Govinda, where you will feel like at home and also find the best and delicious plates. 😋

Coffee is ruled by Krishna community. Pretty good fresh food and sweet-stuff. Good quality, fit prices.

Was invited by a friend to experience the World of the "Happy Clappy" Hare Krishna's in Dnipro. I spent an hour talking to the monk as he explained the basis of the religion and then I watched as they clapped and chanted their way through a ceremony. It wasnt as terrible as I expected, I actually enjoyed it. The ceremony was very tribal, relaxing and enjoyable to watch although it did go on for a bit and I was keen to escape at the end. Essentially they overload the senses with smells, unison chanting and spinning. Now if you chant for 30 minutes it goes without saying you will get yourself into a state of euphoria, in the same way as taking several deep breaths in a row before free diving. (Similar to the 3 hours of chanting Sigh Heil before Hitler walked on stage at the Nurenburg ralleys, he would then appear, at which point the audience were overcome with emotion and believed they were in the presence of a living God... Or the Whirling Dervishes that spin themselves until they get high and can communicate with their God). Personally I stood and watched and clapped a bit. I refused to join in with the dancing etc standing and watching instead - not really my cup of tea. That said, the actual underlying theology is positive and can't really be faulted treat others as you wish to be treated type deal. Do good for others, God is first, and look after youself. Meditation is a positive influence on anyone's life. It is important to take a breather from the stresses and strains of everyday life, and it genuinely seemed to make everyone very happy. It was a pleasant experience. I would prefer it on LSD, but alas those days are long gone. If you are searching for answers to life's big questions it is possible you may find them here, or at the very least a support network. Why not try it, if you do not find what you are looking for, at least you will experience something new!
