Temple-Chapel Sts Olga

Small temple. There is barely enough room inside for 10-15 worshipers. But the decoration is very beautiful and cozy. The service is held in the morning and evening. Open until 18:00.

The temple chapel in honor of the Holy Equal-to-the-Apostles Grand Duchess Olga is a new chapel in the central district of Moscow in the Zamoskvorechye district, part of the Ascension Church complex beyond the Serpukhov Gate. The chapel was built in 1995 - five years after the opening of the Ascension Temple, closed in 1930. The initiators of the construction were several parishioners named Olga. The blessing for the construction was given by His Holiness Patriarch Alexy II of Moscow and All Russia. In 1995, the chapel was built, but its interior decoration was not completed, and the chapel was empty for a long time.

Passing by with a friend, we decided to stop by. It’s actually beautiful both inside and out.
