Sad- elegant old synagogue with a glorious liturgical past converted to a government records archive. Our group could only stand in the courtyard and gazed up at it thinking of times past. Nothing left that would make an uninformed person think that this was an active synagogue.

Very old and historical synagogue

Beautiful building, built in 1863. in the Gothic-Florentine style for Jewish immigrants from Austria and Germany, they were called "Brodsky" Jews, named after the city of Brody (part of Austria-Hungary). In 1925. the synagogue was closed, and then in 1944. here is the regional archive.
