Clarification: Visited in the middle of 2019, perhaps something has changed at the moment. There was a bad aftertaste, a feeling of a deceived person. Let's start with the fact that this is not a restaurant or even a cafe. "Amteka" is an institution reminiscent of a canteen in student years, the only difference from a canteen is very high prices. Now to the point. Minuses: 1. NOT healthy (PP) food, everything is usually fried, where about 95% of potatoes and a minimum of other vegetables (although the season), compote, in which there is a lot of sugar (they do not warn about this), wheat bread. Where is healthy food here? 2. There is no menu. Yes Yes. By the way, even in canteens there is a menu with a list of prices. In "Amtek" a woman comes up to you, who is both a cook and a waiter in one person, and says everything that they have Orally, choose! Moreover, prices are formed after the fact. When you want to clarify the price, they tactfully "move out" and say that the purchase of food every day and the prices, respectively, change every day. Seriously? 3. From drinks we were able to offer ONLY compote, in which there is a lot of sugar, as I wrote above. To my question: "Do you have a Latte?" they answered me with surprise and rudely, as it seemed to me, "We are not a coffee shop," they have only classic coffee, hopefully not instant. 4. The design of the cafe itself was very reminiscent of an ordinary apartment with a relatively classic renovation. 5. The music in the cafe was so quiet that you had to whisper because you could hear every word. 6. At the expense of prices, for understanding: a glass of classic compote with sugar - 25 hryvnia, for 4 people = 100 hryvnia. Salad with white cabbage, cucumber and pumpkin seed oil - 48 hryvnia, for comparison, "Caesar" in Villa Oliva costs 69 hryvnia. 7. Service. A typical woman, as if from a canteen, who took the order, cooked and brought the order. She didn’t even react to my politeness in the form of “thanks for serving” (4 times, every time when they brought compote / food to us), it seemed as if we were not welcome. And yes, they forgot to serve us the main course, they just forgot, they remembered already when they started to write the invoice. I must say that the waiter came already in the middle, but she did not look like a waiter, just in casual clothes, as she came from the street, she served. Pros: 1. Indeed, home-style, delicious. Something like this. Not written out of spite, but for the Owners. The positioning of the establishment is good, only it does not meet expectations and prices. There is something to strive for! Plain dining room or cafe. The menu is very limited. Prices are not small. Eat meat and all that. Healthy nutrition is achieved in them, as in other institutions, sprinkled with purchased sprouts.
