The main activity of the enterprise is the production of bread and bakery products, namely: 9 varieties of wheat bread, 5 varieties of rye-wheat bread, 8 varieties of bakery products and loaves; 20 types of pastry. In 2017, production volume reached 7654 tonnes, which is at the level of the previous year. Production of mass varieties of social bread has been expanded. All production of the enterprise corresponds to the existing GOST and approved DSTU. The company cooperates with many trading networks. PJSC “Berdyansk Bakery” constantly participates in annual tenders for providing bakery products to city institutions and organizations (TB dispensary, military units, preschools, boarding schools and other budget organizations). In 2017, the amount of investment for the development of the company amounted to 31.6 million UAH, which is 2.2 times more than in 2016, which were aimed at reconstruction and purchase of fixed assets. The launch of a new bread production line with the unprecedented method has made it possible to improve the quality of production and increase production volumes. The number of employees at the enterprise is almost 200 people, and the average monthly salary is more than 5 thousand UAH. The mayor was shown in practice the process of making bread in the production shop of the enterprise. In the future, it is planned to expand the market for products due to the development of branded retail trade and the implementation of the project of reconstruction of the line for the production of round breads.
