The only remaining synagogue in Lviv's city center, with remarkable history and a hope for a bright future. Local Jewish cultural community spearheads a restoration effort - drop by to say hello and buy some custom postcards to help with the effort!

The former Hasidic synagogue of Jacob Glancer, built in 1841-1844. It became the only one of the many synagogues in the Jewish part of Lviv that was not destroyed during the wars and pogroms - apparently due to the "conversion" to a warehouse and gym. Now the Lviv Jewish Society named after Sholom Aleichem is located here.
