The carpet needs to be changed. But for play it's good place.

The oldest of the modern stadiums in Lviv, built in 1897. Located on the street. Cheremshyny, 17, borders on Lychakiv Park. The capacity of the stadium is 3742 seats. The land for the stadium for the Polish gymnastic society "Sokół" (Polish: Sokół) was allocated by the city authorities in 1895. The sports complex was built near Lychakiv Park in 1897 - a standard-sized football field with treadmills around and grandstands for spectators, an indoor equestrian arena, halls for gymnastics and fencing. Authors of the project; Ivan Levynsky and E. Kovach. The stands were designed for 30,000 spectators. In 1898, according to the project of Ivan Levynsky, an office building was built in the Zakopane style. At that time it was the best sports facility in Lviv and one of the best in Austria-Hungary. In the 1910s and 1930s, football matches, "hippie exercises," various sports competitions, and congresses of the Polish Falcon were held at the stadium. The stadium was known as the "Sokol-Matsezh battlefield" on Tsentnerivska Street. It was the home arena of the football teams Lechia (Lviv) and Drugi Sokół (second Sokół). After the establishment of the Institute of Physical Culture in Lviv (1946), the stadium became an athletics base for the educational and training process of its students. Before the European Football Championship 2012, the stadium was reconstructed, it was to be one of the training bases of the tournament. During the reconstruction, a four-storey general-purpose building was built, which houses rooms for athletes, coaches, judges, medical offices, a conference hall for 100 people and classrooms of LDUFK. Part of the stands is located under cover, part - in the open air. All 3400 seats are equipped with individual plastic seats. Reconstruction cost: UAH 80 million. Planned illumination of the field and athletics sectors: 500 suites. The stadium is planned to be equipped with 9 athletics tracks for competitions (8 and one additional for marathon running). In the 2017-18 season, Scythian was the home stadium of Lviv Football Club, which played in the Second League. Now the team's matches in Rukh (Vynnyky) took place here.
