The feasibility of further development of hydropower, in my opinion and many others, is a big question. In order not to assert supporters (and they, I think, are guided only by money, especially when allowed private property in this area) about the harmlessness of the stations. Contaminated rivers are changing their ecosystem, especially mountain ones, which have very uneven amounts of water throughout the year, and flood times turn into an unmanaged mixture of water, rocks, clay and trees. Over time, they will be effectively replaced by solar and wind energy.
