It was amazing to see where our ancestors came to the Carpathian basin. The view is breathtakingly beautiful. The weather was really nice, too. We even had a three-course lunch there with the group.

The place is very nice, with beautiful views and nature. Also the road is very beautiful to that place, even though it's not quite easy to get there. I would not recommend going there by your own car if you are not an experienced driver. Especially if you are not from Ukraine, quality of our roads (especially mountain roads) might impress you :)

The landscape is simply breathtaking. It is impossible to convey all the beauty in words

The road invigorates, I had to actively steer through the village. A steep serpentine road of 6 turns at 180 degrees, the curb reclaimed by a cow parsnip from people creates the feeling that you are in a Jurassic Park. Behind the white crosses you sharply to the right and another 600 meters steep upward along the rubble. The memorial, with its ideal cobblestone platform, contrasts strongly with the surroundings. The view of the mountains is addictive to stick to an hour and just contemplate. There are no people here at all, and it's great !!!

We ourselves would never have chosen this place to visit - the locals advised us - they said that beautiful views would open up from here if we were lucky with the weather. And you know, we were not fooled: the views here are really amazing, and we were lucky with the weather. Far under the clouds were visible the Carpathians, together with Hoverla, and right in front of us were "Malovnichi Polonini". And apparently, this place impressed not only us. According to legend, it was here that in the IX century. Hungarian tribes mythical bird Turul. It was on this pass that their leader Arpad decided that the Magyars would live here, and ordered the conquest of Pannonia, simultaneously expelling the Slavs from these places. And in memory of this legendary event, the Hungarians erected a hefty obelisk here, which they call the "Conquest of the Motherland." Judging by the good condition of the monument and the multitude of national symbols, this place is a popular site of constant pilgrimage for the descendants of Arpad. It turned out beautifully, but controversial from the point of view of the Ukrainians living on these lands. Therefore, video surveillance cameras are installed near the obelisk to prevent acts of vandalism. But the roads in these places do not seem to be monitored. And if from the side of the Lviv region you can still somehow go, bypassing the pits, then all that remains is to crawl along the Transcarpathian region. You should be patient and pray for the suspension.
