Muzey "Khata-Staya"

I will not post many photos, so you can discover it by yourself. This is beautiful place with many old things collected to tell about traditional life style of gutsuls. However, the main, the most interesting is woman works there who tells all about the buildings, lands , traditions and history.

Very interesting stories from a female guide about the authentic culture of the Hutsuls. She told about the tradition of making brynza and budza. Singing performed by this charming woman, the atmosphere of a warm Hutsul house with a bunch of real household items and cheese tasting fascinated me and my wife to the crown!

I would like to express my gratitude to the owners of this museum. Thank you for protecting and preserving traditions. It’s a pity that the crowds are getting smaller and smaller. And the youth goes down lower and lower, travels to cities. To hear about the life of the Hutsuls, about the conditions in which they graze sheep, cows ... it was very interesting. I highly recommend visiting this museum. Anyone who appreciates our Ukrainian traditions and is interested in them is definitely here. Very interesting. Thank you very much 🌷
