Consulate of Ireland in Ukraine

Insolent, ignorant and simply rude - this is Spys Oxana, a simple secretary, whom you meet inside the office. Be prepared for a non-professional, direspectful attitude from her. While Volodymyr Say is that cold, disregarding and totally unhelpful man on the other side of the line. Tried to give a call to embassy for 4 times - he ALWAYS spoke in a humiliating and passive-aggressive manner. Guys, shame on both of you, Volodymyr and Oxana! You are representing Ukraine for hundreds of people, not saying about Ukrainian citizens. How is it even possible in our times?!

I am an Irish citizen, firstly I wish to address the location itself. The consulate is so poorly organised, the working hours are coordinated to a very poor manner. Then we get to the woman who is sitting in the office. She is probably the most arrogant, ignorant and disrespectful employee I have ever encountered. Only in Ukraine you will see such misconduct and lack of professionalism.

No waiting area. Dress warm because there are always lines. Better to have euros to pay the visa fee because the euro - uah exchange rate in the consulate is much higher than in banks.

Not friendly lol, think Eastern Europe, not EU, you can only submit documents from 10 until 12, this was indicated nowhere at all! From 12 until 13 there's a queue to collect the documents so you might not have a chance to submit yours. I did have a chance though. All in all experience felt humiliating, I'm not an illegal immigrant, I'm not asking for favors, I'm just applying for a visa to visit a country, what's a big deal?
