Dubno Castle

Unexpectedly rich exposition. Many contributions from private collections. Iconic art, archeological assets, arms, costumes, instruments of tortures. Definitely worth visiting

Well maintained Castle with a lot of activities inside like small exhibitions, old weapons in the yard, dark dungeons or special places for taking pictures. Even in lunchtime, when the Castle was closed, they allowed us to enter and discover the yard and dungeons ourselves, because we had 3 children with us, who needed a break in our long car journey, thanks!

The castle is quite remarkable landmark. Must see, and cam be done in about 1 hour.

The castle itself is pretty huge and has different little museums on its territory. Honestly, can't say that the experience is unbelievable because of this situation: museum of tortures have pictures where is depicted how every method and instrument works, with blood, pornography (for example impalement). And there is no warning or age limit, so people with 2-3 y.o. kids visit this museum without knowing about explicit content before entering. A worker neither explained why it is so nor apologized.
