I would like to briefly recall the history of this building. The financial and economic school opened in it in 1944 and is rightfully one of the oldest educational institutions in the Poltava region. It was only in 1837 that the merchant Alekseenkova in her house opened a religious school in her home. It was for him in 1886 that the building we see today was built. But the religious school it was until 1917. Or a little later.
