Lokhvytsya

Coordinates: 50 ° 22′05 ″ Mon. w. 33 ° 27′37 ″ N e. Year Opened 1887 (130 years old) Type: Intermediate Distance to Kiev, km 266 (to Kiev-Passenger Station) Lokhvitsa is an intermediate railway station of class 4 of the Poltava Directorate of the Southern Railway on the Romodan - Bakhmach line. The station is adjoined by a one-track non-electrified Lochwitz-Gadyach line. It is located in the village of Pisky of Lokhvytskyi district of Poltava region between the stations of Sencha (21 km) and Sula (5.5 km). Long distance and local trains stop at the station.

About 35 years ago, I had to go to the Lochwitz station. Probably now everything has changed. Nothing is recognizable on the map. Not visible at the airport in Pisky. Apparently it is plowed and used as a field. A lot of new buildings. In those days, mostly older people lived there. There were few young people. I wonder how now with that? !!!

I spent all my childhood; there was something to remember; it was a good time!
