The medical unit “Neftekhimik” is a modern multidisciplinary medical institution with the highest accreditation category of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and licensing in all areas of medical care (License of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine dated 10.19.2010) The medical unit serves workers of more than 30 enterprises and organizations of the city of Kremenchug, provides advisory and diagnostic assistance to residents of Poltava and other regions. More than 700 patients visit the medical unit daily, which is twice the design capacity. The medical unit is equipped with highly informative, modern diagnostic and therapeutic equipment of the world's leading manufacturers of medical equipment: “General Electric”, “Vacudent” (USA), “Siemens”, “Medizon Electronik Lunenburg”, “HUMEN” (Germany), “Aloha”, “Olympus” (Japan), “Getting” (Sweden). In the medical unit “Neftekhimik” in June 2010 A new Somaton Definition AS multislice (64 slice) spiral computed tomograph was put into operation. Multislice spiral computed tomography scanner manufactured in Austria and certified in accordance with international medical standards. This is an exclusive equipment for the region, because this tomograph represents a new generation of Siemens medical equipment. The leading European clinics and hospitals are equipped with such models, but in Ukraine, the device with such diagnostic capabilities is the first. Innovative equipment opens up new possibilities in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of diseases, and first of all, it is the identification of diseases in the early stages, which guarantees effective treatment and a high percentage of recovery. Specialists of the medical unit are highly qualified, experienced doctors who are able to improve their theoretical and practical level both on the basis of domestic educational institutions and abroad.
