On the territory of Poltava region the regional landscape park "Kremenchug floodplains" is officially recognized by the Ramsar Convention and given the status of wetlands of international importance. This means that our country is directly responsible for the conservation of these lands under the global agreement on the protection and conservation of natural resources.
