Very good location and cuisine! Polite staff and warm room.

Over all its good, maybe I'll stay here again. Its a piece of history as well, if interest you can ask about it. Pros: 1- very central location you can find everything around it. 2- the stuff very polite and very helpful, especially the lady who works at night shift "i forgot to take her name ". 3- the room its well renovated, fits ok for few days... also you'll need to ask reception to bring you bathrobes and ear plugs if needed. But, closing the window at night enough to sleep soundly. 4- if you need to wash your clothes it might be better to do it at hotel, as outside its extremely expensive.. wash it and then you can take it to the "iron room" and iron it yourself. Because ironing is more expensive then washing!!! Cons: 1- you need to make reservations to use the spa, as its only can fits one person or couple's. Make sure to reserve it once you arrive if you want to use it, its difficult to find available timing afterward. 2- the breakfast will cost 240 grevna, but its very steep... but give it a chance if you want, other wise around the hotel many other restaurants. 3- they don't have exchange facilities, its ok but would not recommend doing it anywhere near the hotel... just walk 10 min see where the locals go and go there the best rate I found was $1 = 27.48 grevna.

Having breakfast under the opera house was delightful. Hotel is classy, adequately updated, comfortable, clean, quiet and conveniently located to everything downtown. The staff went above and beyond their duties to make us comfortable and predict our needs. The best deal in town for a nice place to stay by western standards.
