Gorgeous architecture! Loved the huge scale elements! Must see!

Great place and building but can be dangerous,as the photo proves.

Not picking the calls, very rude staff, not supportive

Terrible experience and would recommend getting in contact long before you plan to travel to Ukraine as no one responds to emails or answers the phones. When they do finally answer the phone they hang up on you. The visa process is absolutely the most difficult I have ever experienced and there is no help provided what so ever. Would give zero stars if I could.

This somber gray "bunker" was built at the time of the destruction of historical and religious monuments of Kiev by Bolsheviks. It was a part of the plan to demolish all the buildings from Mikhailovskaya Square to Sofia Church, which would allow the construction of a new architecture of “the new communist era” in its place. There is no need to be a great connoisseur of history and architecture, to imagine those terrible times, looking around: at the Funicular, Mikhailovsky Golden-Domed Monastery and St. Andrew's Church by Italian architect Bartolomeo Rastrelli. From the Monastery, we go along the Desjatynna street – to the Andriivsky Descent.
