Taras Shevchenko Park

Monument to the poet Taras Shevchenko, not far from the homonymous university.

Great, well maintained public park in central location with lots of spots to sit, and "mobile"/pop-up coffee kiosks. Many public events happening (open air films, dancing yoga etc), especially during summer:) There's also a designated chess playing area somehow aways filled with people playing

The park is beautiful indeed. Compliments with fountain , statues , modern art and beautiful gardens. A lot of cafes , game shed and ample walkway. The location is just ideal near a prestigious university and in the city center.

What a fantastic place! There is a park in the centre of Kyiv down town but very calm and charming to walking around, even without a company. It's a good to drop there for nothing. Visit it, you'd like it))

It`s place as many other in our live. But with one exception. It was time where you could feel real living style of one country in reality and how town shows all fascinate and famous ordinary style. I recomed at least once you go and see what else you can find by your wish and exception.
